About These Demos

Every part of the demos on this page was created totally in AppCobra.

These demos are designed to run on iPhone, iPod Touch, IPad, Android, BlackBerry, HP webOS, or Windows Mobile devices, as listed. However, you will be able to run them on virtually any browser (features specific to some mobile devices, like accelerometer, geolocation, finger gestures, etc, will not work on desktop browsers, however).

Demo Types

For each demo we have listed, there are up to eight different types available. These are:

• iPhone Web App (or HP webOS) - designed specifically at iPhone size, and will run directly in the iPhone browser.
• iPhone App - designed specifically at iPhone size, but you will be prompted to save as an App, and run from the iPhone desktop.
• iPad / iPad 2 Web App - designed specifically at iPad / iPad 2 size, and will run directly in the iPad browser.
• iPad / iPad 2 App - designed specifically at iPad / iPad 2 size, but you will be prompted to save as an App, and run from the iPad / iPad 2 desktop.
• Windows Mobile - designed at a size generally best for Windows Phone. Will run directly on these devices.
• Windows / Android - designed at a size generally best for Windows Phone, and Android devices. Will run directly on these devices.
• Android - designed at a size generally best for Android devices. Will run directly on these devices.
• BlackBerry - designed at a size generally best for BlackBerry devices. Will run directly on these devices.
• Android Honeycomb - designed at a size generally best for Android Honeycomb devices. Will run directly on these devices.
• HP webOS - designed at a size generally best for some HP webOS devices. Will run directly on these devices.

You will be able to run any of these demos on virtually any desktop browser. Note, as mentioned above, that some mobile specific features, like swiping, touching, geolocation, acceleremotor may not work on desktop browsers.

• Super Swiping / Cat Scan

  Here, we've used images from a cat scan to illustrate a feature of AppCobra called SuperSwiping. It allows you to quickly flick through multiple frames with a single finger swipe. In this example, we've also included controls to allow desktop browsers to control the animation.
